Lüjia Village, Jingxing

Lüjia Village has a history of over 600 years since its establishment. The houses in the village were built using local materials, primarily stone, forming stone cave dwellings. All the stones were quarried from the mountains, giving the homes a naturally warm interior in winter and cool in summer. The stone houses clearly display the smoothed textures of the stones, which feel hard and smooth to the touch.
