White Stone Deity Stele

The White Stone Deity Stele is a cultural relic protected at the provincial level in Hebei Province.

The *White Stone Deity Stele*, commonly known as the *White Stone Mountain Stele*, was originally located at the Temple of the White Stone Deity on White Stone Mountain, 25 kilometers from Yuanshi County in Hebei Province. In 1974, it was moved from the courtyard of Yuanshi County Department Store to Longxing Temple in Zhengding County. In 1989, after extensive searching, tourism authorities in Yuanshi County rediscovered the stele at Longxing Temple. That May, along with the *Sacrificial Stele to the Three Mountains*, it was transported back to Yuanshi County and reinstalled on Fenglong Mountain, 25 kilometers from the county seat, where a stele pavilion was built to protect it.
