Biaocun Xinglong Temple

Biaocun Xinglong Temple is a protected cultural heritage site of Hebei Province.

Biaocun Xinglong Temple is located in Biaocun Village, Jingxing County, Hebei Province. Its exact date of establishment is unknown. The temple faces south and currently preserves the Thousand Buddha Pagoda built during the Jin Dynasty, as well as the main hall and east and west wing rooms constructed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main hall is three bays wide and one bay deep, with a single-eave suspended gable roof covered with clay tiles. The east and west wing rooms are also three bays wide and one bay deep, with single-eave suspended gable roofs covered with clay tiles. The Thousand Buddha Pagoda is an octagonal, three-story solid brick pagoda with a pavilion-style structure, standing 15 meters tall. It has a square stone base (currently partially obscured by a railing). The first story of the pagoda body features a niche on the southern side. On July 15, 1993, Biaocun Xinglong Temple was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit by the People's Government of Hebei Province.
