Ancient Jiazhuang Village

With a long history and well-developed transportation, Jiazhuang Village boasts a simple and honest folkway, harmonious neighborhoods, abundant business opportunities, and a stable and prosperous life. Since ancient times, it has been praised as the “Nine Dragons Probing the Sea” and a “dry port” for merchants, serving as a strategic throat connecting Shanxi and Hebei. The village is dotted with historic sites that retain an ancient charm: a well-preserved ancient tower from the Tang Dynasty and a thousand-year-old Tang cypress, the Chaoyang Temple architectural complex from the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era, as well as weather-beaten cypresses that create an elegant and natural environment in Jiazhuang.

Jiazhuang has focused on developing a series of distinctive projects, including an antique cultural street, the Yulin River landscape, the Tang Cypress Garden, the Chaoyang Pavilion, the ancient stage, ancient wells, and the restoration and protection of the Mao Zedong Thought Victory Bridge. At the same time, it has completed 26 farmsteads on a large scale and to high standards, and converted over 30 idle properties into rural accommodation experiences. With full coverage of wireless WIFI, surveillance, music, and lighting, and the full opening of the swimming pool, the supporting facilities lay a solid foundation for developing a national-level beautiful countryside.

A key village in the provincial-level beautiful countryside construction project in 2015, and one of the district’s featured model villages. It currently has 1,500 households and a population of 6,000.
