Xinghua Gully Wetland Park

Xinghua Gully Wetland Park is the green lung of the mining district, covering an area of 1,500 acres. The park is located along the commercial–residential development axis of the city’s urban development framework. To its north lies an office area, to the east a commercial convention and exhibition center, and to its southwest are residential zones. It serves as a vital link and essential passage in the overall tourism development structure, making it an important node in the entire mining district tourism route. It is an urban ecological park that integrates “exhibitions of northern mining district cultural characteristics, stormwater and flood ecological regulation, agricultural sightseeing, public leisure, and fitness and entertainment.”
