The Jinzhuang Shang Dynasty Site

The Jinzhuang Shang Dynasty Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Jinzhuang Shang Dynasty Site is located 12 kilometers southwest of Gaocheng City. It is a relatively large site discovered during the 1986 cultural relics survey, covering an area of approximately 75,000 square meters. The site has a rich cultural layer, with clearly visible graves, human bones, ash pits, pottery shards, as well as stone axes, stone shovels, stone sickles, clam shell fragments, pottery li tripods, pottery dou vessels, cord-marked pottery shards, sandy clay gray pottery shards, and sandy clay red pottery shards scattered throughout. This site is another major Shang Dynasty site discovered in Gaocheng City after the Taixi Shang Dynasty Site. Due to its significant value, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level key cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Hebei Province in 2001.
