Monument to Red Army Martyrs at Monkey Slope

The Monument to Red Army Martyrs at Monkey Slope is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism site.

On November 30, 1935, the 13th Regiment of the 5th Division of the Second Red Army Corps engaged in battle with the 19th Division at Maojiapo on the northern outskirts of Pushi. Two Red Army soldiers died gloriously in the battle and were buried at Monkey Slope. In 1997, a martyrs' cemetery was built here, and a monument was erected in their memory.
