Pushi Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Luxi County. Established as a special town in 1949, officially became Pushi Town in 1953, restructured as Pushi Commune in 1958, reinstated as a town in 1984, and merged with Pushiyang Township in 1987. Located in the southeastern part of the county, it covers an area of 134.7 square kilometers with a population of 34,000. The town government is based in Pushi, 26 kilometers away from the county seat by waterway. Roads connect it to the county seat, and the Yuan River provides year-round navigation.
