The Former Site of Nie Rongzhen's Command Post in Honghecang Village dates back to 1940 and is located in Honghecang Village, Xinzhuang Township, Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang City. On October 20, 2008, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Nie Rongzhen (1899–1992), courtesy name Fupian, was born in Jiangjin, Sichuan (now Jiangjin District, Chongqing). He was a renowned revolutionary, politician, and military leader of the People's Republic of China. As one of the founders and leaders of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and one of the Ten Marshals of the PRC, he made significant contributions to China’s liberation and the modernization of national defense and military affairs. He lived to the age of 93.
