The Caojialou Ruins are a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

The Caojialou Ruins

A Neolithic to Eastern Zhou period site located in Zhanying Village, Xiaohe Town, Yicheng City, covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters with a cultural layer about 0.8 to 2 meters thick. Excavations have uncovered valuable remains such as house foundations, ash pits, and tombs, yielding many significant artifacts. This site is of high value for studying the history and culture of the middle reaches of the Han River during this period. (Fifth Batch)
