The Luojiagang Site

The Luojiagang Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

The Luojiagang Site

An Eastern Zhou-period site situated in Huzhou Village, Zhengji Town, Yicheng City, spanning around 24,000 square meters with cultural layers about 1 meter in depth and abundant archaeological content. Pottery fragments have been found on the surface. This site is of great importance for researching the ancient history and culture of the Chu State, especially in efforts to locate the “Chu capital.” (Fifth Batch)
