Yicheng Wanyangzhou National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Yicheng Wanyangzhou National Wetland Park is named after its core area and the small place name Wanyangzhou on the eastern bank of the Han River. The wetland types include permanent river wetlands and floodplain wetlands, with a wetland coverage rate of 69.53%. The wetland park is home to a total of 229 species of vascular plants from 185 genera and 74 families, as well as 119 species of vertebrates from 52 families and 27 orders.

Covering a total area of 2,466.03 hectares (37,000 mu), the park extends north and south from the Han River Bridge, covering 8 kilometers on either side of the bridge, for a total length of about 16 kilometers. The project plans to establish six functional zones: ecological conservation, science education and publicity, Han River culture display, farming experience, wetland ecological environment appreciation, and management services, forming a unique artistic scenic line distinctive to Yicheng. The wetland conservation area covers a total of 1,458.27 hectares, accounting for 59.13% of the park’s total area; the restoration and reconstruction area covers 741.72 hectares, or 30.08%; the education and exhibition area covers 189.75 hectares, or 7.7%; the rational use area covers 75.99 hectares, or 3.08%; and the management service area covers 0.31 hectares, or 0.01%.
