The Site of the Yao Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hubei Province.

Site of the Yao Family Ancestral Hall

A Neolithic-period site located in Yaojiaping Village, Wanjia Township, Songzi City, it covers an area of approximately 4,200 square meters, with a cultural layer about 1 to 1.8 meters thick. Artifacts collected here include stone tools and pottery fragments (sherds). This site holds significant value for studying the ancient history and culture of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
