Luotian Ziwei Mountain Villa
Ziwei Mountain Villa is located in Xinwuwang, Jiuzihe Town, Luotian County. Nestled against mountains and beside water, it is surrounded by lush pines and cypresses. With mottled walls and moss-covered eaves, it is an ancient residential building from the Ming and Qing dynasties. In Xinwuwang stands a traditional enclosed round house with “one entrance, three halls, two ends, four wing rooms, and one enclosing wall,” stretching 168 meters from north to south and 48 meters from east to west, housing a total of 99 rooms. To the west of Xinwuwang stands a crape myrtle tree, symbolizing the blessing of ancestors. To ensure the historic residence is remembered for generations, it was decided to rename Xinwuwang as “Ziwei Mountain Villa,” meaning “under the high radiance of the crape myrtle, blessings and prosperity endure.”
