Xiaojiayuan Village, also known as Xiaojiawan Village or Xiaojiawan Village, is an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Hepu Town, Luotian County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. It is situated in the town center, where the Hepu Town government is headquartered, making it the administrative, economic, and cultural center of the town. To the north is Shuangfeng’ao Village, to the south lies Balifan Village, to the east are Yaojiapu Village and Xujiadang Village, and to the west is the Xinchang River. The village covers a land area of 2.53 square kilometers. With neat streets, beautiful scenery, lush mountains and clear waters, and hospitable locals, it is an ideal destination for travel and living.

Xiaojiayuan Village features a hilly landscape, with an elevation of around 100 meters, mostly consisting of low hills and ridges interspersed with small patches of farmland. Several small rivers wind through the town center, with willows drooping along the riverbanks and green pines covering the hills. A tranquil and serene atmosphere lies just across a river from the livelier parts of town, making it a great place for travel and vacation. The mountainous area accounts for 80% of the village’s total area, arable land makes up 10%, urban area takes up 10%, and the forest coverage rate is 80%. The forests are mainly composed of Masson pines, camphor trees, camellia trees, maple trees, tung trees, and chestnut trees.

Residents live in small settlements called "wans" (natural villages), with larger ones having a dozen or so households and smaller ones just a few. Most are concentrated in the town center. Some people run small businesses in the town center, others work outside the area, and some still make a living through agriculture.

The Xiaojiayuan Wushiyan Village architectural complex is located in Xiaojiayuan Village, Hepu Town, Luotian County, Hubei Province. It has been included in the second batch of China’s Traditional Villages list and consists of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Covering a total area of 0.5 square kilometers, the village currently has about 50 households and over 200 residents. The architecture dates back to the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, with a history of nearly 500 years. The village was initially established in the late Ming Dynasty when a family sought refuge here to escape war. After centuries of settlement and growth, it has gradually developed into its current scale.
