The First Palace of the Dabie Mountains—Nanwudang Wusheng Palace, a renowned Taoist sacred site in China, is the birthplace of the Southern Wudang Sect and one of China's Wudang martial arts bases. The five-hall Wusheng Palace complex was planned and rebuilt in the early 21st century. The Taoist temple complex features a unique imperial garden style and boasts a grand and majestic atmosphere. Nestled against the Laoqun Peaks, the group of palaces sits atop nine dragon veins rooted to the main peak of the Dabie Mountains, Tianzhuangzhai, with five layers of rolling mountain ranges, seamlessly blending with the Ten Thousand People Tai Chi Square, symbolizing the "Supreme Majesty of Nine and Five" and showcasing the splendor of human culture. The Sanfeng Hall, known as the "Immortal Capital Beyond the Clouds," is the only hall in China dedicated to Zhang Sanfeng, the patriarch of Wudang internal martial arts. Standing 21 meters tall with a 3.9-meter-high deity statue, it has become the ancestral temple of the Southern Wudang internal martial arts. Historical records say that Emperor Qin Shi Huang once dismounted here to pay his respects, and Emperor Wu of Han conferred the title "Ancient Mount Heng." Legend has it that the Tang Dynasty immortal Lü Dongbin and the Ming Dynasty Taoist master Zhang Sanfeng once cultivated here...

The Dabie Mountain Main Peak Scenic Area in Hubei is located in the northern part of Yingshan County, on the southern foothills of the Dabie Mountains. It is a national-level forest park with synchronized warmth and light, simultaneous rain and heat, distinct four seasons, no severe cold in winter or intense heat in summer, offering a pleasant climate. The area has a forest coverage rate of 96%, with a well-preserved forest ecosystem and abundant flora and fauna. There are currently 1,105 plant species and 344 animal species, making it one of China’s seven major biodiversity gene pools. The Dabie Mountains stretch across the Central Plains, extending thousands of miles. The main peak of the Dabie Mountains, Tianzhuangzhai, with an elevation of 1,729.13 meters, is located within the Dabie Mountain Main Peak Scenic Area in Hubei. It stands like a pillar holding up the sky—majestic, precipitous, and awe-inspiring.
