Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Gaoshanpu Battle

The Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Gaoshanpu Battle is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism site.

Located 1.5 kilometers east of Yanlongwan in Gaoshanpu Village, Qingshuihe Township, Qichun County. From October 26 to 27, 1947, the 19th Brigade of the 1st Column, the Central Plains Independent Brigade of the 12th Column, and the 17th Brigade of the 6th Column of the Jin-Ji-Lu-Yu Field Army fought fiercely against the -army here. They annihilated over 12,600 enemy troops, including the headquarters of the 40th Reorganized Division, the 82nd Brigade, the 106th Brigade, and one regiment of the 39th Brigade, achieving victory in the Gaoshanpu Battle. The area features opposing mountain ranges on both sides of Gaoshanpu, forming a narrow battleground that served as the main battlefield of the fight.
