The Site of the Gaoshanpu Battle is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Located 1.5 kilometers east of Yanlongwan in Gaoshanpu Village, Qingshuihe Township, Qichun County. From October 26 to 27, 1947, the 19th Brigade of the 1st Column, the Central Plains Independent Brigade of the 12th Column, and the 17th Brigade of the 6th Column of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Field Army fought a major battle here against Nationalist troops. They annihilated the headquarters of the 40th Reorganized Division of the Nationalist Army, along with its 82nd Brigade, 106th Brigade, and one regiment of the 39th Brigade — totaling more than 12,600 soldiers — securing victory in the Battle of Gaoshanpu. The site is flanked by opposing mountain ranges, forming a narrow valley that served as the main battlefield. (Batch 3)
