The WujiaTai Tribute Tea Garden is a cultural heritage site protected by Hubei Province.

WujiaTai Tribute Tea Garden

Located in WujiaTai Village, Wanzhai Township, Xuan'en County. During the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, tea from WujiaTai gained recognition for its unique quality and was designated as a tribute tea. The site preserves existing tea plantations, residences, and the burial grounds of the Wu family. There are two residences, with a total built-up area of approximately 600 square meters. Both are stilted houses facing south, featuring five pillars and four spans, with a post-and-lintel frame structure and gabled roofs covered in clay tiles. Nearby the houses lies an ancient cluster of Wu family tombs, consisting of ten burial mounds, all earthen tombs with headstones in front. This tea garden is the best-preserved and longest continuously used tribute tea garden in Hubei. (Fifth Batch)
