Enshi Shuanglong Lake

Shuanglong Lake is located 2 kilometers west of Xuan'en County on the Gongshui River, and consists of landscapes such as Shuanglong Lake, canyons, and karst caves. Surrounded by green mountains and clear blue waters, the lake is dotted with pleasure boats and speedboats, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the scenic views of Longtan Fort, Fishing Platform, and Lovers' Bay. The canyon stretches 20 kilometers and features 7 gorges, 3 caves, and 24 scenic spots. At its narrowest point, the sky is visible only as a thin strip overhead, where you can pluck wildflowers and fruits from the mountainsides and climb perilous cliffs and peaks. The canyon includes attractions such as "Fairy Rock," "Scorched Cliff," "Soaring Dragon Mountain," "Lotus Pond," and "Rapeseed Gorge," all of which are fascinating. There are also three karst caves: "Fairy Cave," "Heaven's Gate Cave," and "Three Beauties Cave." These caves are covered in stalactites and stalagmites, each with its own unique form. Since the completion of Longdong Reservoir in 1992, the Longdong Scenic Area, which combines natural mountain and water landscapes with modern engineering, has become a tourist attraction in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture.
