The Martyrs' Monument to Those Who Died for the Country is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

Martyrs' Monument to Those Who Died for the Country

Located 200 meters west of Shihé Town, Tianmen City. In 1944, to commemorate the Battle of Shihé West Bridge during the War of Resistance Against Japan, all officers and soldiers of the 43rd Regiment of the 15th Brigade of the 5th Division of the New Fourth Army erected this “Renowned Across Henan and Hubei” monument, which bears the names of 155 martyrs. The monument is 1.8 meters high and 0.6 meters wide. It was relocated to its current site in 1963. (Third Batch)
