The Longzui Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Located in Wuliu Village and Zhangxiang Village, Shihetown, Tianmen City, this is a Neolithic-period site. It covers an area of approximately 130,000 square meters, with a cultural layer 0.5 to 2 meters thick. Archaeological excavations in 1987 and 2005 indicated that it was an ancient city dating back to the Youziling Culture period. The city wall and moat are well-defined. The city wall is roughly circular in layout, measuring about 305 meters from north to south and 269 meters from east to west, covering an area of approximately 82,000 square meters, with the inner urban area spanning around 60,000 square meters. The city wall was built along the natural terrain, with remnants standing 1 to 3.2 meters high and a base width of about 17 meters. The moat is located about 12 meters south of the northern wall, approximately 18 meters wide, generally 1.5 meters deep, and reaching a maximum depth of over 2.7 meters. Overall, it forms a relatively enclosed city structure with lakes on three sides and a moat on the fourth. Artifacts unearthed include pottery, stone tools, jade objects, and rice husks. The site is currently well-preserved and represents the earliest known Neolithic-era ancient city discovered in Hubei Province to date, holding significant academic value.
