Dacheng County Hunting Ground

Dacheng County Hunting Ground is located in Zusi New Village. It features an 8,200-meter fenced enclosure, 15 crossbows, 10 hunting dogs, and 50 shooting facilities. The area is covered by over 200 species of trees, mainly pine, linden, and birch, with a forest coverage rate of 90%. The lush vegetation and crisscrossing streams provide a natural habitat for wildlife. The grounds are home to 51 species of mammals including red deer, black bears, wild boars, roe deer, river deer, lynxes, and otters, as well as over 250 species of birds such as hazel grouse, pheasants, and mandarin ducks. Except for those protected as rare species by the state, these wild animals are available for hunting.
