Longmen Subdistrict: A town under the jurisdiction of Luoyang’s suburban area. In 1958, it was part of Luonan Commune; in 1961, Longmen Commune was established separately; in 1984, it was upgraded to a town. Located at the southeastern edge of the district, it covers an area of 43.1 square kilometers with a population of 55,000. The Jiaozuo–Zhijiang and Yiyang–Luoyang railways, as well as the Luoyang–Longmen highway, run through the area. It administers 14 village committees: Peicun, Gaizhuang, Longmen, Weiwang, Sigou, Huayuan, Ducun, Nanliu, Shangtun, Xutun, Litun, Wangshan, Tianshan, and Zhanggou.
