Liuer Gully Scenic Area

Liuer Gully Scenic Area, located 10 kilometers southeast of Dengyoufang Town, is conveniently connected to the Zhanghua Highway to the west and the Dengjiu Line to the north. The area boasts vast land, high forest and grassland vegetation coverage, superior natural conditions, beautiful surroundings, and abundant tourism resources, with a developable area of up to 10,700 mu. Among these, Liuer Gully Reservoir covers 500 mu, forests cover 5,000 mu, the “Grain for Green” project zone spans 2,200 mu, and natural grasslands occupy 3,000 mu. The water area is home to a variety of naturally bred fish such as crucian carp, carp, and loach. Last year, Dengyoufang Town partnered with British IBC International Group Ltd. to jointly develop the Liuer Gully Scenic Area, with a planned total investment of 50 million yuan, to be completed in two phases. Last year, 2 million yuan was invested to complete two scenic roads, one well, five brick-and-wood bungalows for reception and accommodation, and five yurts. Multiple wooden rest areas in the forest, a floating water viewing platform, fishing platforms, a water entry dock, and a horse racing field, among other facilities, are also nearing completion. This year, the town is vigorously advancing follow-up construction projects, ensuring 10 million yuan in funding is in place to complete the “Three Gardens” – the Picking Garden, Flower Garden, and Vegetable Garden; the “Four Courtyards” – the Reception & Accommodation Courtyard, Farmhouse Courtyard, Mongolian-style Courtyard, and Song & Dance Courtyard; the “Four Fields” – the Horse Racing Field, Hunting Field, Sandboarding Field, and Paragliding Field; as well as six water facilities. With broad development prospects, it is a comprehensive tourist area integrating summer retreat, leisure, entertainment, and local cultural experiences.

Dengyoufang Town: Dengyoufang Town is located in the southwest of Kangbao County, 45 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 150 square kilometers and governs 22 administrative villages (East Village, West Village, Huangjialiang, Erxiansheng, Erjugou, Santai, Sitai, Shagou, Budonghu, Lizhaoliang, Dongliang, Zhanshigou, Guohuaying, Jian Dian, Jiadebao, Nabozi, Dawudeng, Zhang Shouye, Guo Faliang, Xiangyang, Ligui Gou, and Songjia Ying) and 35 natural villages.
