Fuoergang Reservoir

Fuoergang Reservoir was developed in accordance with the National Water Conservancy Scenic Area Standards. The initiatives include: reinforcing the dam and flood discharge sluice to enhance flood prevention standards; landscaping the reservoir by greening and beautifying over 300 acres of water conservancy project land; utilizing water surface resources by adding pleasure boats; and developing surrounding historical sites, including the construction and improvement of cultural attractions such as the thousand-year-old Iron Buddha Temple, the Jingdukou Site, and the Ancient She Bai. According to statistics, the reservoir receives over 50,000 visitors annually.
