The Yan Zhenchang Memorial Exhibition Hall in Changge City is a classic red tourism destination.

The Yan Zhenchang Memorial Exhibition Hall in Changge City is located at the village committee office of Shuimohe Village, Pohu Town, Changge City, covering an area of 100 square meters. The exhibition is divided into seven sections: Introduction, A Choice Without Regret, Development Is the Hard Truth, Making the Village "Upright", Daring to Take Responsibility and Speak for the People, Party in Heart and Principle in Mind, and Unfinished Concerns. Through text and images, it showcases the exemplary deeds of Yan Zhenchang. In June 2015, it was designated as a on-site teaching base for cadre education and training in Xuchang City, and a learning base for Party members in Changge City.

Comrade Yan Zhenchang served as the Party branch secretary of Shuimohe Village for 44 consecutive years. Since taking up the post of Party branch secretary of the Shuimohe Brigade in 1970, he always remembered the purpose of the Party, led by example in his work, and was wholeheartedly dedicated to public service. To establish a positive image of a Communist Party member among the masses, he upheld integrity, was strict with himself, and set a personal rule of "not getting involved in five things". To build a strong team, he established a "four no’s" rule for the village's two committees. The village's two committees strictly adhered to the "four discussions and two public disclosures" working method, resolving various conflicts through in-depth and meticulous ideological work, thereby gaining the support and trust of the people. To transform Shuimohe Village from poverty, he led the cadres and villagers in establishing factories, encouraging Party members and cadres to guide the masses in developing shareholding economy. This effort spanned several decades, and now the village has over 50 shareholding enterprises. To invigorate the rural market, he led the two committees in planning a new village layout, constructing all buildings along the main streets for commercial use to facilitate business activities for the residents. Now, the village hosts nearly 400 businesses of various kinds, becoming a well-known "Little Hong Kong". To increase agricultural income, he led the two committees in focusing on the development of agricultural infrastructure, transforming over 3,000 acres of farmland into high-yield and stable fields that can withstand drought and flood. To solve water supply issues for daily life, agriculture, and industry for the village and surrounding areas, he took responsibility and worked for the people—eventually bringing in a lake of clear water. To promote spiritual civilization and uphold positive values, he led efforts in studying and applying the law, and the village publicly selects and honors outstanding Party members, youths, and daughters-in-law every year, as well as holding send-off ceremonies for students entering high school and university. Under his leadership, Shuimohe Village achieved a total social output value of nearly 500 million yuan in 2014, with per capita net income reaching 15,000 yuan. The village now owns over 350 cars, with more than 30% of its farmers owning their own vehicles. The villagers have not only become wealthier, but the village atmosphere has also improved, with acts of kindness and mutual help becoming common, and respect for education prevailing. It has become the only "zero [incident] village" in Changge City. Over the decades, due to his outstanding work performance, Yan Zhenchang has been awarded honors such as "Model Worker of Henan Province", "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Henan Province", and "Exemplary Rural Grassroots Cadre of Henan Province". In January 2016, he was posthumously honored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee as a "Role Model of the Times". Shuimohe Village has also been awarded titles such as "National Demonstration Village for Democracy and Rule of Law" by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, and "Civilized Village" by the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Government.

Yan Zhenchang is a banner and outstanding representative of rural Party branch secretaries, and an advanced model of grassroots cadres in rural areas in the new era. To encourage Party members and cadres to learn from him, in 2015, the Changge Municipal Committee decided to build the Yan Zhenchang Memorial Exhibition Hall at the village of Shuimohe. Since its completion, the exhibition hall has received over 300,000 visitors from all walks of life.
