The Zhong You Inkstone Washing Pool is a cultural heritage protection unit of Xuchang City.

The Zhong You Inkstone Washing Pool is located in Hepingjie Village, Laocheng Town, Changge City, dating back to the Three Kingdoms period.

On June 19, 2009, the Zhong You Inkstone Washing Pool was designated as part of the third batch of Xuchang Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Protected area: with the center of Fuquan Well on the north side of the Zhong You Inkstone Washing Pool as the reference point, it extends 30 meters eastward, 40 meters southward, 50 meters westward, and 3 meters northward.

Laocheng Town: a town under the jurisdiction of Changge City. It is an important national production base for fine sheep hair brushes and the largest distribution hub for agricultural tricycles and related parts in Henan Province. Established as Chengguan District in 1950, it became a commune in 1958, renamed Laocheng Commune in 1960, upgraded to a township in 1984, and established as a town in 1985.
