Gexian Lingchi Pool

Gexian Lingchi Pool is a cultural relic protection unit of Xuchang City.

Gexian Lingchi Pool is located within the campus of the Central Primary School in Houhe Town, Changge City, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On June 19, 2009, Gexian Lingchi Pool was designated as part of the third batch of Xuchang Municipal-level Cultural Relics Protection Units.

The protected area: with the center of Gexian Lingchi Pool as the reference point, extends 10 meters east and north, 20 meters south, and 15 meters west.

Houhe Town: Located at the foot of Xingshan Mountain on the eastern foothills of the Funiu Mountain Range, Houhe Town is the only township in Changge City that has mountainous terrain. It lies 11 kilometers northwest of downtown Changge City. The town administers 28 administrative villages and 197 villager groups, with a cultivated land area of 39,000 mu, a total area of 44.4 square kilometers, and a population of 53,000. It borders Pohu Town to the south, and adjoins Yuzhou and Xinzheng cities to the west and north respectively, making it one of the central connection points in the Zhengzhou–Xuchang integration zone.
