Thirty kilometers southwest of Yangyuan County lies Yufeng Mountain, also known as Three Peaks Mountain. It consists of three peaks, with the middle one higher than the two on the sides, resembling a brush stand. Legend has it that this was the brush stand used by Cangjie when he created Chinese characters, and locals call it "Brush Stand Mountain."

Brush Stand Mountain stands over 2,000 meters above sea level and preserves its pristine vegetation, mainly consisting of primitive secondary forests, shrubs, and more than 200 varieties of herbaceous plants, as well as over 30 types of medicinal herbs. The vegetation coverage rate exceeds ninety percent. In spring and summer, the mountains are covered with colorful wildflowers in full bloom, filling the air with fragrant scents that are intoxicating. By early autumn, various mountain fruits such as mountain peaches, apricots, cherries, hazelnuts, jujubes, and sea buckthorn hang abundantly from the branches—vivid reds, pleasing yellows, and vibrant greens that captivate and enchant visitors. In winter, a type of evergreen broadleaf small tree called Lanjinzi sees its leaves turn from green to yellow, decorating the mountains in exceptional beauty and giving the feeling that winter is giving way to spring. The area boasts a beautiful environment, balanced ecology, and a rich diversity of wildlife, including rare animals such as roe deer, foxes, badgers, hog badgers, and pheasants.
