Jiulong Waterfall is located within the Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area and is considered a highlight of its landscape. Though the nine waterfalls appear separate, they are actually interconnected. Nine cascades—including Beauty Waterfall and Layered Emerald Waterfall—form a bridge of flowing water, with pools and falls complementing each other in varying heights and delightful arrangements. Beneath each waterfall lies a crystal-clear pool where the water splashes into layers of white foam.

The Ningcui Waterfall features crystal-clear waters, and at the point where the spring overflows, a large rust-colored rock is formed, covered in moss and resembling an emerald embedded in the water when viewed from afar. These nine waterfalls, each with its own unique form, are interconnected in a continuous chain, truly offering a pool every three steps and a waterfall every five, with clear springs flowing over stones, adding boundless charm to the canyon.
