Longyan Waterfall of Yuntai Mountain
Longyan Waterfall of Yuntai Mountain is located at the far end of Lao Tan Gully in the Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area. Lao Tan Gully is about 2.5 kilometers long, featuring towering peaks, a majestic atmosphere, lush flowers and trees, and competing springs and ravines. After walking 400 meters up the gully, you can see the highest waterfall in China. It can be seen from July to September in summer, but if you go after October 1st, you’ll only see a small trickle, not as spectacular. As the saying goes, good wine needs no bush — you have to walk all the way to the innermost part of Lao Tan Gully to see this magnificent Longyan Waterfall of Yuntai Mountain.
