Residential House in Xinchenzhuang from the Ming Dynasty
The residential house in Xinchenzhuang is located in Xinchenzhuang Village, Xihong Township, Shangcai County. Facing south, it is a three-story building constructed during the Ming Dynasty. It features a flush-gable roof with gray tiles and a decorative hanging flower gate. The upper left and right corners of the front façade, as well as the lower eaves, are adorned with brick carvings depicting figures, birds and beasts, and flowers. The walls on all four sides still retain the brick holes used for scaffolding during the original construction, which are quite uniquely shaped.
