The Beihai Fishing and Salt Culture Folk Museum is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Beihai Fishing and Salt Culture Folk Museum is located at the junction of Happy Sea and Happy City, boasting a prime geographical position. It lies to the north of the sea, west of the mouth of the Bailang River, and is flanked by man-made reservoirs to the east and south. Designed and built in the style of classical ethnic architecture, it is one of the salt culture-themed construction projects. Inaugurated on January 14, 2007, it is a sizable complex of classical buildings, consisting of the Mountain Gate, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Dragon Gate Hall, Salt God Hall, Yongning Hall, and gardens. During traditional festivals such as the Dragon Heads-raising Day (the second day of the second lunar month) and the Salt God Festival, local residents and visitors gather here to perform or enjoy a variety of traditional programs. The museum exudes an antique charm, brimming with the rich fishing and folk culture traditions of the region.

The Beihai Fishing and Salt Culture Folk Museum is situated in the northern part of Yangzi Town, Hanting District, Weifang City, on the southern shore of the Laizhou Bay in the Bohai Sea, at the northwest corner of the newly constructed seawall. It was funded by the Shandong Longzhen Group and is surrounded by water. To the southeast lies over 160,000 acres of expansive salt fields. Designed in the style of classical ethnic architecture, the main structure stands 21 meters high and covers an area of 20 acres. Inaugurated on January 14, 2007, it is a sizable complex of classical buildings, comprising the Mountain Gate, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Dragon Gate Hall, Salt God Hall, and Yongning Hall. Ancient cultural events such as the “Dragon Heads-raising Day” temple fair and the Salt God Festival are held here.
