Shouguang Sanyuanzhu Village is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Sanyuanzhu Village is the birthplace of the winter-warm greenhouse and a distinctive economic village in China. Located at the southernmost tip of Shouguang City, it enjoys convenient transportation and developed agriculture. This land is rich in resources and blessed with talented people. As early as 5,000 years ago, it was influenced by the Longshan and Dawenkou cultures. It was here that Jia Sixie, the Sage of Agriculture, conducted his agricultural research and ultimately produced China's first monumental work on agriculture, the "Qi Min Yao Shu" (Essential Techniques for the Welfare of the People). A member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission was born and raised on this very land.

The village has a total of 216 households, 865 residents, 1,295 mu of arable land, 530 winter-warm vegetable greenhouses, and 310 mu of premium orchards.

In 1989, 17 party members and cadres in Sanyuanzhu Village, under the leadership of Secretary Wang Leyi, overcame numerous challenges and risks to successfully trial the "winter-warm vegetable greenhouse." That year, the average income per greenhouse was 27,000 yuan. This sparked a "green revolution" that transformed the agricultural structure of much of China, significantly improving the living standards of urban and rural residents, boosting farmers' incomes, and opening up a new path to prosperity through technology for hundreds of millions of Chinese farmers.

Since the successful trial of the winter-warm greenhouse and greenhouse vegetable cultivation techniques, the people of Sanyuanzhu have generously shared their knowledge with farmers across the country, spreading their expertise to 26 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. There are over a hundred technicians who regularly travel to other regions to provide hands-on training. Their efforts have made a tremendous contribution to helping farmers escape poverty and achieve prosperity. To further develop modern agriculture and cultivate a new generation of farmers, the village has established a high-tech agricultural demonstration base and the Shandong Agricultural Science and Technology Vocational Training School. By the end of 2009, the village had hosted over one million visitors for tours, inspections, and study programs. They have trialed, improved, and promoted five generations of winter-warm greenhouse technologies, as well as successfully introduced and implemented more than 20 advanced techniques including drip irrigation, computer-controlled systems, soilless cultivation, and biological pest control. They have also introduced, tested, and promoted nearly 20 categories and over 300 new crop varieties. In recent years, the village has established long-term and stable cooperative relationships with many renowned agricultural research institutions, universities, and experts both in China and abroad. They have promoted standardized production techniques, yielding high-quality green vegetables. The "Leyi" vegetable trademark has been recognized as a well-known trademark in Shandong Province, "Leyi" brand cucumbers have been named a national famous-brand agricultural product, and the vegetable-specific fertilizer produced by Leyi Chemical Company has been awarded the title of national exempted inspection product, becoming a trusted choice for developing green agriculture.

Over the years, leaders from various levels of the Party and government have visited Sanyuanzhu Village multiple times to inspect and guide its work, speaking highly of the achievements made by the village. Sanyuanzhu Village has been honored with numerous titles, including "National Civilized Village," "China's Top Ten Distinctive Economic Villages," "National Advanced Grassroots Party Organization," "National Ecological Culture Village," and "National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Branch." Secretary Wang Leyi has been elected as a delegate to the National Congress of the Communist Party of China for three consecutive terms and has received honors such as "National Model Worker" and "National Outstanding Communist Party Member."
