Luocheng Subdistrict of Shouguang City is located in the eastern part of Shouguang’s urban area. It borders Daotian Town to the east, faces Shengcheng Subdistrict across the river to the west, neighbors Jitai Town to the south, and adjoins Shangkou Town to the north. It is the main venue of the China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo. The area is traversed east-west by Weigao Road (S323) and Shouji Road, and runs north-south through Yangtian Road and Changda Road. Covering a total area of 144 square kilometers, it governs 118 administrative villages, has 30,000 households, a population of 101,000, and 124,000 mu of arable land. In 2011, the subdistrict achieved local fiscal revenue of 135 million yuan, with per capita rural income of 10,671 yuan. It has been honored as a “Provincial-Level Civilized Unit,” “Provincial-Level Hygienic Town,” “Provincial-Level Strong Tourism Town,” “Provincial-Level Best Leisure Town for National Leisure Festival,” “Advanced Grassroots Unit in Ping’an Weifang Construction,” “Advanced Town in Food and Drug Safety Work in Weifang City,” and one of the “Top Ten Charming Towns in Weifang.”
