The Dahuang Beiyang Salt Industry Site Cluster is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Dahuang Beiyang Salt Industry Site Cluster is located in Yangkou Town, Shouguang City. Dating back to the Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou dynasties, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province in 2013.

Yangkou Town: [Overview] Situated in the northeast of Shouguang City, on the western side of Laizhou Bay and the southern bank of the Xiaqing River estuary, it lies 48 kilometers from downtown Shouguang. To the east is Laizhou Bay, to the west the Shuangwangcheng Eco-Economic Zone, to the south it neighbors Yngli Town, and to the north it borders Dongying City. The town government is located in the Yangkou Town area on the southern bank of the Xiaqing River. The jurisdiction covers a maximum east-west distance of 32.40 km and a maximum north-south distance of 25.08 km, with a total area of 310.72 square kilometers, including 223.86 square kilometers of land and 86.86 square kilometers of water area.
