In April 2011, the former residence of Ma Baosan was designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Ma Baosan, originally named Ma Jiantang and also known under the alias Zhang Bingyan, was a native of Niutouzhen Village, Taitou Town. He joined the Communist Party of China in August 1924 and passed away in February 1964.
