It serves as the southern gateway to Shouguang. The town covers a total area of 90 square kilometers, with 74,000 mu of arable land, governs 72 administrative villages, and has a total population of 53,000 people across 13,000 households. In 2015, the town achieved scientific investment of 1.76 billion yuan and local fiscal revenue of 35.16 million yuan, representing year-on-year growth of 13.9% and 16.6%, respectively.
