The Huangyashan Cliffside Carvings are a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Huangyashan Cliffside Carvings are located to the north of Shimazhuang Village, Duozhuang Town, Mengyin County. Dating back to the Northern Dynasties, they fall under the category of cave temples and stone carvings.

The Huangyashan Cliffside Carvings are among the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites.

Duozhuang Town: In 1956, Duozhuang Town was transferred from Yinan County to Mengyin County and was then known as Duozhuang District. In 1957, it became a township, and in 1958, the Duozhuang People’s Commune was established. Since then, the name has changed multiple times, and in September 1985, it was officially named Duozhuang Town. In March 2000, it was approved as a central town.

Duozhuang Town is under the jurisdiction of Mengyin County and is located about 30 kilometers southeast of Mengyin County. It is recognized as a “Central Town of Shandong Province” and administers the world-famous Menglianggu Tourist Area. It is also a border township between Mengyin County and Yinan and Feixian counties. The terrain is higher in the north and south with a lower middle section.
