Tangbu Town: With a long history, Tangbu Town was known as Tangbu Township in the Eastern District during the late Qing Dynasty, became Tangbu District in the early years of the Republic of China, established the Tangbu People’s Commune in 1962, and was officially designated as a town in 1984. The town covers a total land area of 80.5 square kilometers, with a population of 32,600, and governs 35 administrative villages. It is situated in the eastern part of the Yimeng Mountain area, bordered by Yinan County to the south and Yishui County to the east, and is known as the “eastern gateway to Mengyin.”
The town features four mountain ranges composed of bluestone and sandstone—three running vertically and one horizontally. The terrain is higher in the west and north, and lower in the east and south, characterized mainly by a moist wetland climate. The provincial highway “Yanshi” runs through the town, and a tributary of the Zishui River flows within its boundaries. More detailed information about Tangbu Town ++
