Xujiaya Tourist Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Xujiaya Tourist Area in Feixian County is located 10 kilometers southwest of the county seat, covering a total area of 49 square kilometers. It enjoys a prime location as the “southern gateway” to the county town, with the Mengtai Highway passing through. The scenic roads and Xuxing Road intersect in all directions, ensuring convenient transportation. The area currently includes attractions such as Congbayan, Bagua Lianhuan Cave, and the Yimeng-style Lotus Bay.

Located in a mountainous region, Xujiaya is primarily an agricultural area, producing sweet potatoes, wheat, and corn. The forestry and fruit industry is well-developed, with specialties such as yellow pears and Sichuan pepper. There is also a large reservoir with a capacity of 290 million cubic meters. The area boasts abundant tourism resources, featuring beautiful mountains and waters, picturesque scenery, as well as rich historical, mythological, and cultural heritage sites. It also offers unique natural landscapes including rocks, caves, water bodies, springs, flowers, and trees. Among them is the stone forest landscape, hailed by experts as the greatest natural wonder discovered in northern China at the turn of the century. To the southeast are the Yuhuan Mountain Immortal Cave and the religious site—Congbayan. Known for its peculiar rocks, pear orchard scenery, and Buddhist culture, it has become a renowned Stone Forest Pear Township Tourist Area. In 2004, it was named one of the first “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Sites.” In 2011, it successfully passed the inspection of the Shandong Provincial Tourism Strong Town Evaluation Team. In 2012, the Xujiaya Reservoir was further designated as a provincial-level water conservancy scenic area. In December 2015, it was honored with the title of “Shandong’s Most Beautiful Tourist Town of 2015.”

The Congbayan and Immortal Cave Scenic Area is located on the sunny side of Yuhuan Mountain in the southern part of Feixian County. Originally built during the Sui and Tang dynasties and renovated in the 39th year of the Ming Dynasty's Jiajing reign, it is named for its dense Chinese arborvitae trees and is a famous Buddhist sacred site. The area features attractions such as the Immortal Cave, Bliss Cave, Puguangming Hall, Stele Corridor, Millennium Ginkgo, Twin Arborvitaes, Evergreen Pine, and Echoing Spring. The Immortal Cave is the largest and deepest karst cave on Yuhuan Mountain. Even in the peak heat of summer, the cave remains cool and otherworldly, resembling a paradise—hence its name. Congbayan is blessed with clear mountains and beautiful waters, serene caves, the shade of ginkgo trees, ancient pines clinging to cliffs, towering arborvitae, and ancient temples faintly visible among the green hills—an earthly paradise that combines Zen meditation experiences with leisure and wellness in a single resort destination.
