Mengshan Scenic Tourism Area

Mengshan Scenic Tourism Area is located 9 kilometers south of Zhoucun, known as the hometown of silk, and less than 75 kilometers from the provincial capital Jinan. Covering an area of 150 hectares, the area features gently rolling hills, expansive waters, a beautiful environment, and pleasant scenery. It is a convenient and climatically pleasant tourist resort. The interplay of lake and mountain views creates a unique charm, with the 5.3-square-kilometer Mengshan Lake offering broad waters and rippling blue waves.

The surrounding Mengshan hills undulate with historic sites still in existence. Renowned attractions such as Mengshan Temple, Stone Buddha Temple, and Wuji Temple boast a long history and numerous folk legends. Especially popular is the annual Mengshan Temple Fair, which draws large numbers of pilgrims and tourists, contributing to Mengshan’s fame as one of Shandong’s four great mountains.
