Shen Ancient Architectural Complex

The Shen Ancient Architectural Complex is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Shen Ancient Architectural Complex is located in Wangcun Town, Zhoucun District, Zibo City, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the Shen Ancient Architectural Complex was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Wangcun Town: The newly established Wangcun Town covers a total area of 57.97 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 41 villages and one neighborhood committee, and a total population of 54,530. This includes 19,588 non-agricultural residents and 34,942 agricultural residents. The industrial sector has initially taken shape around ten pillar industries: refractory materials, machinery, electronics, food brewing, building materials and construction installation, environmental protection, daily-use ceramics, chemicals, pesticides, and underground resource mining and processing. Infrastructure construction in the small town has been fully launched, taking on the initial scale of a small town.
