Former Site of Guangbei Middle School

The former site of Guangbei Middle School is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The former site of Guangbei Middle School is located in Dajie Subdistrict, Zhoucun District, Zibo City, dating back to the years 1904 to 1912.

On October 10, 2013, the former site of Guangbei Middle School was designated as part of the fourth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Dajie Subdistrict: Dajie Subdistrict is located about 2.8 kilometers southwest of the urban area, covering an area of 5.94 square kilometers. It administers six communities, with a total of 14,791 households and a population of 40,342.

In the 55th year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1716), it was part of Zaoshenyue and Sugongyue of Changshan County. In August 1964, 22 neighborhood committees were carved out from Zhoucun Commune to establish the Sishijie Office of Zhoucun District. In March 1983, the Sishijie Office was abolished and split into three separate offices: Sishijie, Xihe, and Silk Road.
