The park has a total investment of 255 million yuan, stretching 1,600 meters in length and 388 meters in width, with a green area of 620,000 square meters and a water area of 259,000 square meters. The construction of Honglian Lake Park emphasizes the concepts of "ecology, culture, and leisure," aiming to create a charming riverside landscape that reflects Huantai’s cultural heritage and promotes sustainable development. Once fully completed, the park's water system will run northward through the county town of Huantai and connect with Mata Lake. The park not only provides the public with a great place for leisure, fitness, and entertainment, but also effectively supplements surface and groundwater sources, alleviating water supply issues brought about by economic development and urban construction, and promoting the comprehensive utilization of water resources and ecological restoration.
