Zhangji Catholic Church is a cultural tourism attraction.

Zhangji Catholic Church is located at the eastern end of Jiankang Road, Chengguan Town, Hejian City. It was built in the sixth year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty (1856), and was named after its location west of Zhangzhuang. The main church complex consists of two architectural areas, eastern and western, covering several acres with ten high-quality buildings and numerous single-story structures, making it a large-scale complex. Situated in Sanlishipu, 15 kilometers north of Hejian City, it was built to commemorate Mao Chang, a Han Dynasty scholar and expert on the works of the Marquis of Hejian. Constructed during the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1341–1368), it was subsequently renovated during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and served as a place where the local academic head (or school principal) taught and examined students. The shrine features a three-bay main hall housing a clay statue of Mao Gong. There is also a plaque inscribed with the words “Master of the Six Arts.” Behind the shrine lies Mao Gong’s tomb, which stands 5 meters high and has a diameter of 30 meters. In 1967, both the shrine and the tomb were destroyed, leaving only ruins.
