Xingzhaiwang Site

The Xingzhaiwang Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Xingzhaiwang Site is located three li northwest of Xingzhai Village, Liangjia Town. The site stretches 100 meters from north to south and 60 meters wide. It is divided into three layers: the top 30 cm consists of disturbed soil, below which lies a 75-cm-thick Han Dynasty cultural layer, and beneath that is a roughly two-meter-thick Longshan culture layer. A total of 119 artifacts were unearthed, including pottery li tripods, jar-shaped ding tripods, pottery jars, basins, cups, pottery paddles, pottery dou stems, pottery spinning wheels, bone arrowheads, bone awls, horn awls, stone shovels, stone arrowheads, as well as bronze arrowheads. It is a site belonging to the Longshan culture.
