Han Huai Mound

Han Huai Mound is a cultural relic protection unit of Dezhou City.

Han Huai Mound is the tomb of a noble from the Eastern Han Dynasty over 1,800 years ago. The tomb features an "S"-shaped layout with two entrances and 13 chambers, combining the arched vault and inverted-bowl architectural styles. Over 40 artifacts were unearthed, including a rare 12-lotus lamp currently on display at the Beijing History Museum. Other relics include 22 Wuzhu coins and a segment of a silver chain. It is named after a thousand-year-old Han dynasty scholar tree growing on the mound.
