The Site of the Ancient City of Jiucheng is an ancient heritage site dating from the Han Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, located in Huanghua City, Cangzhou. It is listed as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Hebei Province.

The ancient city ruins are 20 kilometers from Huanghua City and currently house the government offices of Jiucheng Town. The ancient city, also known as Jiugaocheng, was the county seat of the historical Gaocounty, established in the seventh year of the Tianbao era during the Northern Qi Dynasty and abolished in the ninth year of the Hongwu era during the Ming Dynasty. According to reports, this archaeological survey covered a large area and included a wide range of content, such as the scope and width of both the inner and outer city walls, the locations of city gates, residential areas, and handicraft production zones, reflecting the overall urban layout. The survey of the ruins holds special significance for understanding the architectural layout, industrial culture, and military defenses of ancient cities, and will provide valuable insights into the political, economic, and cultural aspects of the time.
